Diana Kennedy in FW, August 13-14

According to Kim Pierce, Diana Kennedy will be in Fort Worth this weekend, overseeing a Friday night dinner and Saturday lunch at Cafe Modern. Unless you've got a funeral or chocolate conference to attend, you should be there.

Also, if you don't already have the Spanish original, pre-order the English version of her Oaxaca book which comes out next month. (Well, unless you've pre-ordered Myrhvold's book, in which case Kennedy's work will be totally obsolete.)
