La Mejor, Panaderia Guatemalteca. 2717 E. Belt Line Rd., Carrollton.

Hadn't noticed this Guatemalan bakery/cafe in Carrollton till a couple of weeks ago. (Wasn't able to find any reports on it through Google.) It's a second location, with the original in Garland (open since 1995). Notes to follow after a few visits, time permitting. In the meantime, check out their very nice web site for the menu. The place has been pretty busy the two times I've dropped in, which is refreshing in this economy.

Nice video, great looking food. Cutting the torta with a plastic knife cracked me up.
