What is the best brunch or lunch in or near Granbury?

Take a picnic from Central Market to Dinosaur State Park in Glen Rose. But be sure to stop by the Creation Evidence Museum up the road, so they can explain to you how God placed the dinosaur footprints in the park to confuse everyone about how old the Earth actually is.

Thanks, everyone, for your replies. We planned to go to the Chop-n-block for takeout BBQ and eat it in the state park (since we had The Werewestie with us). As I posted in the closures thread here, the Chop-n-block is RIP. This forced us to go to an eat-in restaurant and so delayed our visit to Dinosaur State Park until later.

I was also unaware of Rough Creek Lodge. Sounds like a place to visit in future as well.
