Suet source?

After striking out at Central Market and Whole Foods, I wonder if anyone knows of a place to buy beef suet in the Dallas/Richardson/Plano areas. It's for cooking, not bird feeding. I need a pound or two.

I'd try butchers next (e.g., Hirsch's or Rudolph's). Seems like they ought to be able to help you.

Hirsch's only has it when they get in a full side of beef, but Rudolph's had it today. Thanks for the suggestion.

Glad it worked out. But I thought you said you weren't making something for birds to eat.

Only birds of the human variety, Scott. Next year, I'll be sure to substitute TDL hazelnuts (or pecans) for the half-pound of chopped almonds this one contains. You can consider your order placed. In fact, I can whip one up in time for this Epiphany, if you would like to substitute plum pudding for your usual roscón de reyes.
